2. You browse free, with no account. Filter by city, age, category or day. Save the ones you like. Saved events live in your browser, not in a profile — and nothing is hidden behind a signup.
3. You confirm with the organizer. Every listing links to the source page. Times shift and sign-ups fill, so check there before you go; the organizer always has the last word.

Is Stumbl free?

Yes. The website is free to use — no paywall, no account, no ads. Individual events set their own price, and most of what we list costs nothing to attend.

Do I need an account to browse events?

No. Every page is readable without signing in. If you save an event, it’s stored in your browser on that device rather than in an account.

Where do the events come from?

Public calendars published by Bay Area libraries, parks and recreation departments, museums, farmers' market associations and city event pages. Every listing links back to the organizer's own page, and our sources page names each calendar we track.

How often is the calendar updated?

We re-check the calendars we track every week, and listings run roughly five weeks ahead. New events usually appear within a few days of the organizer publishing them.

Which parts of the Bay Area does Stumbl cover?

The East Bay, San Francisco, the Peninsula, the South Bay and the North Bay. Coverage follows what each city publishes openly, so some places have far more listings than others.

Are all the events free?

No, but most are. Free listings carry a Free badge, and the free events page shows only those. Anything with a cost shows the price the organizer published.

What ages are these events for?

Babies through teenagers. Where an organizer states an age range we show it; where none is given the event is listed as all ages. Age pages include all-ages events, because in practice those are most of what families actually turn up to.

What if an event is cancelled or the details change?

It happens — weather, staffing, full sign-up sheets. We show what the organizer published, so tap through to the source listing and confirm the time before you drive across the bridge.
